## How do STCW certificate alerts work?

Certificate expiry dates appear at upcoming, critical and expired thresholds, allowing the responsible user to track renewal action.

## Which rules are used for rest-hour checks?

Records are evaluated against at least 10 hours of rest in 24 hours and 77 hours in seven days. Company policies can also be configured.

## Are previous assignments retained?

Yes. Vessel, rank, date and contract context remain in history; a current assignment does not overwrite older records.

## Can crew certificates be viewed by vessel?

Yes. Shore teams access them from the seafarer profile, while vessels access documents through the assigned crew list.
